Located within the new West End at Crown, Jimbo & Rex is a warm, inviting space — perfect for meeting friends for a drink, or stop for a meal. There’s plenty to enjoy about the Mim Design fitout as well: the lofty ceiling heights with floating beams, the custom artwork created specifically for the space, along with the Volker Haug lighting and earthy finishes. Throughout the design process everything was carefully considered; from the venue name, branding and graphics, through to the final menu and accessories. This meticulousness through the design, documentation and construction phases, ensured the final fitout achieved is a strong, layered and individual interior. (Photography: Shannon McGrath)
