“Casual. Unpretentious. High Energy.” That’s The Merrywell, a modern interpretation of a gastronomy-driven pub now open at Crown. Scottish-born, Las Vegas-based chef Grant MacPherson and acclaimed American chef, Sam DeMarco (Sammy D) cherry-picked Melbourne for their latest venture, their first time working together in Australia (after trekking around the world trying to satisfy their cravings).

There’s a burger bar downstairs, the ‘Top of the Merrywell’ restaurant upstairs and an outdoor heated terrace overlooking the Yarra river.
